The Centre for WTO Studies organized a webinar on "Cross Border Subsidies and the WTO: An Analysis of the EU's Toolkit' on 9 September 2020. The EU's treatment of cross-border subsidies has come in sharp focus recently on account of the following measures: (i) the imposition of CVD on transnational subsidies; and (ii) the introduction of a White Paper on foreign subsidies. The webinar closely examined these developments with an eye on their legality and impact on developing countries.
